5th-6th Grade Coordinator Job Description

Description

Coordinate, organize, and oversee a 5th-6th grade level from registration to end of season tournament.

Responsibilities

  1. November - Get coaches list and start calling to find your coaches.
  2. December - Orientation Meeting - have ready to hand out at meeting: rules, game schedules, practice schedule, draft procedure, jerseys, coaches shirts.
  3. December - Run draft and tryout.
  4. January - February - Keep track of win/losses to be organized for end of season tournament.
  5. March - Organize tournament - gym times, ranking, send out to coaches.
  6. March - Pick up trophies.
  7. March - Run end of season tournament, pass out evaluations, hand out trophies, be at gym to supervise and answer any questions.
  8. March - help coaches get organized if they want to play AAU.
  9. March - calculate evaluations and be ready to present to board meeting.
