The OMGBA Cougars finished league play on a three-game winning streak, and then went into the host tournament with momentum to capture the third place trophy with an impressive win against a formidable OMGBA opponent, with several playing hurt and others picking up their game. They will be entering the End-of-Season Tournament with enthusiasm and hopefully all players present and healthy.
We the coaches are extremely proud of each and every player (and parent) on this team. Our pre-season goals of having fun, learning the game, getting better, making new friends and strengthening existing friendships have been achieved. Beyond that, every player proved himself capable of persevering and staying mentally tough.
