Osseo Maple Grove Basketball Association

• OMGBA Jr High House is a travelling program that plays in the Northwest Suburban Basketball League (Osseo/Maple Grove, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Fridley). All players that enroll make a team. Teams are selected by coaches via a tryout and draft. All enrolled players are expected to attend the tryouts.
• Games are played on Saturdays (1 game per week) anytime from 8am-6pm and are played mostly in Osseo/Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park, with possible games in Champlin or Fridley. Game times and locations will vary week to week.
• Practices are once a week anytime M-F from 6-10pm in Osseo/Maple Grove. Practice days, times, and locations will vary week to week.
• There are two Mid Season Tournaments and one End Season Tournament. Those games are played anytime Fri night (6pm), Saturday (8am-8pm) and Sunday (8am-6pm).
• Coaches will contact players shortly after tryouts and will communicate game and practice schedules to their players.
• Because we play in a multi-suburban league, game and practice schedules are not known for the entire season at the beginning of our season. In general, schedules are released in the last week of the month for the following month.
• We play primarily high school rules.
