All Star Voting
All Stars are to be voted in by your team players. They are not to be hand picked by coaches or parents.

Encourage your players to vote for kids that best demonstrated basketball skill and great sportsmanship during the year.

Tally the votes and your top vote getters make the All Star team. If you are an AllStar coach, your child gets to play with you on your team. Select your next vote getter if your child happens to get voted on your team.

Team Formation
Boys 7th Grade - Team A vs Team B
Team A are the allstars from seeds 1, 4, 6, and 7
Team B are the allstars from seeds 2, 3, 5, and 7
Each team will have 1 player from seed 7
Each team will total 9 players = 2 players voted in from each seeded team (1-6) plus 1 player from seed 7 along with child of each coach
Team A will be coached by:
Head Coach = Seed 1 Head Coach
Asst Coach = Seed 4 Head Coach
Team B will be coached by:
Head Coach = Seed 2 Head Coach
Asst Coach = Seed 3 Head Coach

Boys 8th Grade - Team A vs Team B
Team A are the allstars from seeds 1, 4, and 5 (2 players)
Team B are the allstars from seeds 2, 3, and 5 (1 player)
Each team will have 9 or 10 players = 3 players voted in from each seeded team (1-4) plus 1 or 2 players from seed 5 along with child of each coach
Team A will be coached by:
Head Coach = Seed 1 Head Coach
Asst Coach = Seed 4 Head Coach
Team B will be coached by:
Head Coach = Seed 2 Head Coach
Asst Coach = Seed 3 Head Coach

Girls 7th & 8th Grade - Team A vs Team B
Team A are the allstars from seeds 1 8th, 2 7th, 4 7th
Team B are the allstars from seeds 1 7th, 2 8th, 3 7th
Each team will have 11 players = 3 players voted in from each seeded team along with child of the Coach
Team A will be coached by:
Head Coach = Seed 1 8th Grade Head Coach
Asst Coach = Seed 2 7th Grade Head Coach
Team B will be coached by:
Head Coach = Seed 1 7th Grade Head Coach
Asst Coach = Seed 2 8th Grade Head Coach

Seeds are final season standings (before End Season Tournament)

Free Throw and 3-Pt Competitiion
To increase player participation, we will have a Free Throw and 3-Pt Contest at halftime using both baskets for the kids that do not make the All Star team. Have your kids do a team contest in one of your final practices. Your top non-All Star placers for each of these get to go. You should have one Free Throw contestant and one 3-Pt contestant for your team.

Make Sure Your Players Can Attend
Ask your All Star and Shooting Contest winners if they are able to attend the event. If you have kids that cannot attend, award the next-top vote getters or shooters that can attend.
