The 3rd and 4th grade House League program is designed to introduce basketball skills and fundamentals, while promoting a love for the game. For many, this is a first-time basketball experience. 3rd and 4th graders are on separate teams in the fall.

*** All participants in 3rd and 4th grade will use a 27.5 size ball and shoot free-throws from 12 ft. 3rd graders will shoot at 9 ft baskets and 4th graders will move to 10ft regulation height baskets.***

This Fall house program runs from mid-October thru mid-December.  

Practices: There will be two practices per week.  Practices are 1 hour long and can be held on any weekday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Practices for 3rd & 4th graders fluctuate Monday - Friday as many kids have religion, piano, and other activities on the same day every week.  There are two practices per week, and they are always on a different day so if you have to miss a practice once in a while, it will still work out.   Schedules cannot be made until teams are formed and we know how many teams we have. Practices are held at local elementary schools.  Practice schedules will be uploaded to individual team page calendars after the coaches meeting.

Games: Games are held on Saturdays.  Each team will typically play one or two games each Saturday.  Game times are dependent upon the number of teams in the program.  Plan to play games between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.  There will be a tournament and awards will be presented at the conclusion of the season. 

On-line registration is available during the sign-up period. 

Team Formation is completed in early October for the fall. Fall teams are formed by school when possible.  Friend requests are only honored if they are reciprocated and from the same school. Requests to play on a specific team will not be honored. Coaches will receive roster and schedules at a coach meeting Mid-October.  The coaches will be calling players to let them know their team rosters and their first practice time shortly after this meeting.
