Equipment Coordinator JD

Description

Responsible for finding the best suppliers and ordering all house uniforms, coaches shirts and equipment needs for the programs.  This includes ball bags, balls, first aid kits, score books, score clocks, pinnies, and any additional equipment needs. Any extra supplies in the warehouse must be inventoried and accounted for when placing new orders.  All equipment stored at the elementary schools must be checked on annually. This position is also responsible for delivering equipment to all program coaches meetings and making sure any size or equipment exchanges are dealt with. In addition, this position makes sure all equipment is returned at the conclusion of the season.

Responsibilities

  1. April - Collect and inventory basketball equipment from coaches and Elementary Schools.
  2. May - Present and have approved equipment purchases for the following year (above normal wear and tear replacement needs).
  3. June - July - August - Place order for equipment for preferred vendors.
  4. September - Provide equipment for Elementary and Traveling teams. Provide nets for the Elementary schools.
  5. October - November - Provide Equipment for Junior High and Senior High Leagues.
  6. March - Make sure all ball bags and equipment are collect from all travel and house league coaches.
