Recognition Coordinator

Description

Responsibilities include finding and working with the best vendors for all OMGBA photo and award needs. Scheduling picture times for all programs and delivering picture packets to team meetings. Ordering all trophies, awards, medals, and t-shirts needed for OMGBA tournaments and All-Star events. Making sure all awards are labeled properly and delivered to coordinators prior to tournaments.

Responsibilities

[Need to format - verify] 

  1. Call Varsity - reserve picture dates in late August for year according to calendar x 5 dates.
  2. Get numbers of players per grade and rosters from records director.
  3. Check if permits are pulled - dates, times, place and location in school.
  4. Re-call Varsity with numbers per grade and order packets for coach orientation.
  5. Distribute picture packets at orientation meetings and SA forms.
  6. Sort pictures upon delivery and call coordinators to arrange for delivery x 5 grade levels.
  7. Arrange for Action Shots at traveling tournaments.  (Backdrops 16 x 24 - Big shots 3 photographers)
  8. In Early September meet with Trophies by Linda to discuss prices.  Giver her list of tournament dates.  Figure budget for year.
  9. Get trophy numbers/brackets from coordinators one month before each tournament to Linda x 8 tournaments.  Discuss model of trophy.  Need medals for skills for 3 - 5 grade.
  10. Get copy of invoices and copies of orders to Treasurer.
  11. Pick up trophies or arrange for pick up and distribute to coordinators.  Possibly help with unpacking of trophies.
  12. In mid-May order length of service awards for June banquet.
  13. Order scholastic achievement pins from Trophies by Linda in late January.  In September copy SA form and make packets for teams and distribute at orientation meetings.
  14. December - January - sort SA forms by grade and coach.  Purchase envelopes, copy letters (about 500 applications).
  15. Stuff envelopes and distribute to coordinators.  Mail 4th grade awards.
  16. Drawing for camp scholarship.  Get vouchers for camp from Mark Saari.  Mail awards as summer Park and Rec Book available.
