How Do I Sign Up?
What kind of shots should I take?
Shots should be game shots, catching and shooting, shooting off the dribble, etc. These should be done with proper form. Good video examples can be found on the right.
25% layups, 50% jump shots, 25% free throws.
25 Layups (right and left) then 10 free throws (Repeat 2x)
25 Jump Shots then 10 Free throws (Repeat 2x)
Total 140 shots
Do I only record made shots?
No, record all shots taken made or missed. All shots count towards your goal and completion of the challenge. However, it is always a good idea to have some knowledge of how you are progressing. Recording makes and misses on your own is a great way to do that.
What about horse or lightning?
While these games are fun it won't help your shot for game like situations.
Does a parent have to watch every shot?
No, Parents only need to verify that, to the best of their knowledge, the player had the time and opportunity to shoot the shots. It is the players responsibility to accurately track the number of shots taken. This will strictly be an on your honor challenge.
How much does it cost?
Nothing, It's free.
