OMGBA provides a great basketball experience for about 2,500 players at a very affordable price. The success of the organization is driven by its volunteer base. As you can see below by the list of openings, we need your help to keep the program going at the same quality level and at the same value.
There are currently 44 positions on the board. Not all positions require basketball knowledge. All positions just require time, organizational skills, and the willingness to help!
The OMGBA board is broken into 4 sections.
The Executive Committee: Made up of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Operations Director.
The Traveling Committee: Made up of 9 positions including the Commissioner, 2 Coordinators, 2 Tournament Schedulers, 3 Traveling Tournament Directors, and 1 Uniform Manager.
The K-12 House Committee: Made up of 19 positions including 3 Commissioners, 15 Grade Coordinators, and a Referee Coordinator.
OMGBA Administration: Made up of 10 positions that take care of Gym Scheduling, Registration, Pictures, Awards, Equipment, Uniforms, Spirit Wear, Volunteers (DIBS), Web Site, PCA & Trusted Coaches, as well Concessions.
Running a community basketball organization serving about 2500 girls and boys from grades K-12 in House and Travel each year is a lot of work made easier by lots of volunteers, but we really could use more help.
