OMGBA supports the Maple Grove High School and Osseo High School attendance areas ("OMGBA Area"). If you are registering to participate in the OMGBA House Program, you must be a resident or attend a school within the Osseo or Maple Grove High School attendance areas. If you are registering for the OMGBA Travel Program, you must attend a school within the Osseo or Maple Grove High School attendance areas. If you are a resident and are unsure if you qualify, please email registration@omgba.net for more information. OMGBA requires all participants to play with their grade level regardless of age. OMGBA does not allow players to play up or down from their grade.

4th graders that plan to try out for traveling basketball should register for this program. If they make a travel team, they will be required to pay an additional tournament fee and volunteer at the November travel tournament. Please select "YES" to the question regarding interest in trying out for travel.

Registration opens on August 12, 2024, and will close on Oct. 11, 2024 for house league. Registration closes on September 13th for those planning to try-out for traveling basketball.
5th - 8th graders planning to try out for traveling should register for this program. Please select "YES" to the question regarding interest in trying out for travel. If you make a travel team, you will need to pay an additional fee for tournaments and will be required to volunteer at our OMGBA home tournament in November. If you do not make a travel team, your fee will cover all house league expenses and you will automatically be signed up to play in the house program. The OMGBA house teams play in the Northwest Metro League against other communities.
OMGBA uses the DIBS Volunteer System for volunteer requirements for 4th - 8th Grade Traveling basketball families. ALL FAMILIES ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN UP. For more information see the "Volunteer Info" tab .

Registration for the Senior High League will open on October 7, 2024, and will remain open until November 25, 2024. Players not making a high school team can register right after the high school tryouts have completed and teams are selected.
The Senior High players will participate in the Northwest Metro League for games and tournaments.

* 3rd & 4th graders will wear their uniform from the fall. Advanced 3rd graders wishing to play Division 1 must have played in the fall program and have the ability to compete at this higher level at a 10' basket. All other 3rd graders should register for Division 2.
**Advanced 2nd graders must have played in the fall & will need to purchase a uniform at an additional cost.
***Travel players will be required to pay an addition travel fee and provide a DIBS check to guarantee volunteering at our Nov OMGBA tournament.
If a player registers and participates in the traveling tryouts and is placed and posted on a travel team, that player must participate on that team, or they forfeit any fees paid to that point. There are no refunds for players making a travel team.

OMGBA has a limited number of player scholarships available for situations involving financial hardship.
Scholarships are NOT available for our Intro to Basketball or our 1st and 2nd grade program.
Scholarship requests must be submitted via the survey questionnaire on the scholarship page AND the request must be accompanied with a current free/reduced lunch approval letter. No Exceptions.
